FBI urges vigilance for July 4

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

I know we've made a difference in exposing the true news to media who lurks. I am certain all the times many of us notify the alphabets, especially Jill and Laura, that something has had to make sense.

Personally, I have contacted an important journalist on some things and he was interested enough to give me his personal contact info. I have contacted someone who is a major player in the intel/analyst field and he immediately gave me his personal contact. Cannot be too shabby what we do here considering that.

Unfortunately we have attracted jihadis but the positive note on that is they should be scared seeing we could care less about the PC they assume is carte blanche in our country and we will not lay down without a fight.

I thought that some of the links pulled on a search for an empty suitcase were odd.

I do remember seeing the report on building fallout and shelters, that they put out.

The thought went by that there are many reports of the people who worked rescue and clean up at the WTC on 9-11 all have lung diseases now.

Iraqi militant group threatens to kill Pakistani hostages

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — Insurgents threatened to kill three Pakistani hostages if President Gen. Pervez Musharraf did not close his country’s embassy in Iraq, according to video broadcast Saturday on Arab television.

The videotape showed three hostages flanked by a group of masked, armed men. The anchor for the Al-Arabiya television network read the insurgents’ demand that the Pakistani president shut the embassy.

Admission reported in theft of explosives
