California has more registered conservatives as Republicans than any other state.

I find the only difference between "liberals" and "conservatives" are the goals; each needs a big gov't to force what they want on the public.

When the dems are in they pass laws to regulate every aspect of public life. When the reps are in they pass laws to regulate every aspect of private life. We're well on our way to having all those freedoms that can't be abused by a retarded sociopath with AIDS.

There are restrictions all through society on bad behavior, we are not going to pass on illegal drugs because there are some organized loud druggies who want their addiction more legal.
