Therein lies the crux of the matter. At this point I tend to believe this Marine went AWOL because that is what the Marines said had happened (they were too pc to come right out and say it, instead they said he was "missing from his post") and made a deal with his Islamic "brethren" in Iraq to get him out of the country, ...fill in the blank. Unfortunately they double crossed him and he found out that it doesn't matter if your an Islamic fascist or not, if your from America Allah wants you dead. So they cut off his head and he got to meet Allah (too bad it is just Satan in drag and alas, no 72 virgins).
Now the deed is done, the guy has no head and everyone is ticked. The Marines are ticked because in spite of the fact the guy probably went AWOL and his ultimate allegiance was to Allah, not the U.S. Marines they still killed a Marine and even if he was probably not loyal, they are. At the same time they killed one of their Mooslem brothers. While you can saw the heads off of infidels day in and day out and receive praise. It is not a good idea to let the world know that Islam is just a bloody, bloody cult that gets its jollies through lopping heads off and shouting "Allah Akbar" or some other such nonsense. It does not do much for winning infidels and the world at large to your cause.
So now after this Mooslem Marine has no head, those that done the deed are in a political quandary, their answer, like the good little Mooslems they are = LIE! Remember it is ok in Islam to lie to the infidel (and in this case the world at large) when it suits your purposes and the greater "good" (which is absurd because there is nothing good in this wicked/perverse religion of death) of Islam.
