I think the teacher's union are the greatest barrier to education in America

They keep asking for more and more money. No improvement shown, but they want raises.

Take the union out of the teaching profession, disallow lawyers in the firing process.

Lastly, if a child is handicapped in the ability to learn due to a real handicap or being handicapped by bad parenting, take them out of the regular classroom and let them learn at their own pace in a different class and let the kids who can achieve have the opportunity to reach the stars.

The public schools are little more than liberal propaganda factories.

Just look at what GWB gets for growing public education, instead of recognizing that the federal government should not be involved at all.

Now the Dems will give the NEA everything it wants, and what can the Republicans say?

I keep getting flyers, brochures, magazines, etc. from NEA and they all advocate Democrat positions and viewpoints. Including a large postcard endorsing Kerry.

Isn't there some law to prevent union dues from being used in this manner?
