I think Moore knows that he really stepped in it this time. People all around the globe have seen his "challenge" to debate anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Unfortunately they've also seen takers for his challenge line up only to be ignored.

He's clearly preaching to the choir as he picks their pockets. The "facts" in his movie have fallen like a house of cards. He's stolen the intellectual property of others. and stepped on the privacy rights of a fallen soldiers family.

Went to Arlington last summer to let my kids see that great place. The tour bus guide informed us that we were strictly prohibited from taking pictures of a funeral if we encountered one. I would think that the Military would be very interested in the film clip that Moore used and how he obtained it.

So far the "facts" in F-7/11 have been refuted one-by-one, the chronology was shown to be false, quotes were unfairly edited, outright lies have been exposed, contexts were invented, lies were told about Miramaxes role in funding, Moore has ties to the same corp. that he damns Bush with, lies were told about movie attendance and most recently Pete Townsend called Moore a liar about why music from The Who wasn't used. Now we find out about illegitimate (possibly illegal) use of film of an airman's funeral.

What next? Did he steal the raw film and cameras? Is even the slightest most trivial detail of this crockumentary a sham in some way or other?

Moore has declined to respond to questions from interviewers about whether he resorted to subterfuge in order to embed photographers among U.S. forces and has been criticized for not showing footage of the abuses to U.S. military authorities earlier.

I guess that answers my question. It's not stolen film and cameras (yet) but there goes the legitimacy of the cameramen.
