Litigation lawyers are incapable of taking facts and turning them into junk science. Anyone claiming otherwise has no idea of the true meaning of junkscience.

I hate junk science as much as the next person and knew absolutely nothing about "mold litigation" when we finally pinpointed why we were all getting sick.

As I stated in a previous post, a few gallons of bleach, a scrub brush and some elbow grease solved our problem. No lawyers or insurance companies involved.

Otherwise healthy people do not get sick for no reason. Within days of getting rid of the mold we were all back to normal....no more headaches, mood swings, lethargy, and in my case the addition of exzcema.

I absolutely adore living in the country - even with all the "problems" it means...............LOL!!!

I much prefer mice and snakes and mosquitos, and even the danged fleas instead of the rats and roaches I contended with living in the city.

Hubby is not real thrilled with the snakes (he exterminated 2 of them this morning) but agrees - they are better than what we had before we moved!!!!!

We've got windows on all four sides, including two 5' x 6' oriels. The only time we get sun in the house during the summer is the hour before sunset (just in time to heat up the kitchen after having had the stove on!). In the winter we get a few hours of easterly sun because the oak is bare. We are able to keep the house very cool in the summer just by opening the windows strategically. I generally leave the AC off unless its in the 90s or if the humidity is very high.

Care to speak in English????????

What in heaven's name are you talking about?

It is not my fault that John Edwards and company have taken to abusing science.

The east, south and west windows all have awnings on them to keep direct sun out. Because we have no shade trees it is a very rare occasion that I have to turn any lights on during the day.....even in the middle of the winter.

My kitchen is on the east side of the house - so I don't have your problem!!!!!

I rarely use the AC and generally use windows open to keep the house cool. But it has been raining, and so dampness and humidity are a bit of a problem. We're going to join other FReepers tomorrow in Norfolk to FReep Kerry's appearance - I will close all the windows and turn the AC on - it will help pull the huidity and keep the dogs more comfortable.

I'm really looking forward to it...........even though it is a better than 2 hour drive for us.

I'm outta here for a bit - we need to make a run to the store before the skies open up on us again.

later!!!

If your read the story it said the family's doctor requested to have the house tested because H4H lawyers still didn't produce a mortgage agreement. At that time there was many other families in this chapter of H4H waiting for their mortagage ageement. The family also paid $3500.00 to have there own testing done because H4H had limited testing done . The H4H program is not a handout , don't confuse it with public assistance.

I know EXACTLY what H4H is about, believe me. Yes you have to sweat equity, but please be serious.

From the article not only did H2H pay for MULTIPLE testings, it also paid for repeated remediation efforts. I'm sorry, but this is hardly a story of innocent little family being run over by uncaring or unwilling charity.

I'm sorry this attempt to spin this as H2H has been uncooperative or unwilling is just nonsense... that's not back up by the facts and is nothing more than lawyer speak for pity my clients and give them a fat check.

Frankly and honestly the family paying $3500 for their own testing shows they have the means to buy their own house anyway.... Not to get off topic. But since you think the mortgage agreement is what this is about, I'll take a side route down that path.
