Down home at the ranch, President Bush (and presumably also, Mrs. Bush) continues to vacation. National Security Advisor Condi Rice hitched a ride on into town from the guest house at Prairie Chapel Ranch, providing photographic relief for the masses inundated with dem images and "rhetoric." Barney also makes an appearance in this very limited edition of the Dose @ Sanity Island.
Please feel free to post any of your favorite photos due to the dearth of items available today.
I must say I think it was wise, and gracious, of Mr. Bush to give the dems their week in the sun for that may be all they get, by taking his working vacation now.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>HAPPY BIRTHDAY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Thanks for posting that. What a cute story!
Many thanks for the birthday greetings.
Many thanks for the birthday greetings.
The Bush campaign is gonna tear these two empty suits to ribbons in short order. John Kerry has no soul, he has never taken a principled stand on anything. I've known guys like him in my life, and I tell ya, nobody respects a guy like John Kerry. In todays politically correct atmosphere his kind is known as an opportunist. In my world, he's a punk, someone you should never trust or turn your back on.
Even John Zogby said today on the LARRY ELDER Show that only expected Kerry/Edwards to get a single digit bounce. To tell you the truth,I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get any bounce. Did you hear that NC gave their 4 delegates to Dennis Kuc?!! I saw 2 posters saying that. I refuse to watch the DNC Convention.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLLIEMB
The Dems might think they have stepped up to the plate and are ready to take on George W. Bush, but the problem is! they came to the plate without spikes to run the bases with, and without a Bat to hit with.
John Kerry was bragging about having the support of decorated Generals and Admirals, 10 in all. Since Kerry announced the support of these 10 high ranking Officers, over 100 of the highest ranked Military officers have come forth to voice their support for President Bush
I'm so glad you posted the Favorites. I lost all my W pics when my last PC died.
Did you notice how Edwards co-opted two of the Republican sayings, not precisely quoting Reagan but saying something like America is a shining example of freedom to the world, and saying "Hope is on the way," almost parroting the Bush-Cheney 2000 convention mantra, "Help is on the way."?
Vacuous and pathetic.
Try using this link for the video (but the author asked that the link not be distributed further, as he's been asked by Warner Brothers not to use the song).

It took a while due to some other technical difficulties downloading the file --- anyway, I have it mirrored at:

Just click on Kerry's head - you'll see it! :>)

Steplock: Thanks for formatting the video in such a way that I was easily able to access/play it!!!
The third Edwards co-opt of Bush's words was when he said of Al Qaida that there is no place they can hide; we will hunt them down and destroy them.
Edwards' speech was a combination of stolen Bush quotes and rehashed Clinton lines about racial divisions, two Americas, heading in the wrong direction, etc.
I just finished watching Clinton's 1992 convention speech on C-SPAN. The 2004 Dem Convention is a word-for-word replay of 1992!!
P.S. Great tag!
Chickees...I'd like you to meet my sister, mseasterbunny. Welcome to Free Republic, sis!
Sorry it's a day late, but this card comes with my love........
