I am proud of your son for fighting two battles -- the battle against terrorism, which is real, solid and threatens our nation; and the battle against sordid, liberal thought.
When I look at my children, and watch them play in peace, riding their bikes to the tennis courts, laughing and playing in the pool with their dad, reading on a warm summer night, I thank God for people like your son who secure the peace of my little ones.
There may be liberal sailors who would rather see their grandbabies torn apart in the womb, victims of evil thinking, cowards at heart, who will not face the shame or inconvenience of a demanding new life. But there are people like your son, who lay everything on the line and prove in word and deed that virtue is stronger. They keep the encroaching terror, on both fronts, from eating away at my family, at least for now.
God bless your son. Some of us are thankful for his strength in facing enemies within and without.
Bless your heart. Your words have help to strengthen my resolve. I was so hell bent in pushing my son to get out of the Navy. Thanks for leading me back to the right path.....
