I plan to record it. I've been having trouble falling asleep lately.
On O'Reilly I think Newt G. said last night Edwards said "Hope is on the way" and tonight Kerry was
going to say "Help is on it's way".. I've heard that slogan somewhere before.

LOL - tell us how you really feel
Cheney told our military that during the 2000 race.
I think people are stunned, yet again, at the dishonesty of the leftwing 'mainstream'. They make out as if they were there to see it. They report as if it had already happened, as if they heard the words, and the crowd reaction, and saw the images, and so on.
If that's true, and they lied, don't you consider your own reaction equally stunning?
OK, Ok, that was in really bad taste. I'm still laughing.
They didn't say anything about him forgetting where he was and redoing the entire Whoopi Goldberg routine?
The real story is, the Kerry campaign already gave the speech to its useful idiots.
If GW tried this, he would be accused of trying to influence the press.
Good point. If they are now going into the business of reporting the future as the past then:
Washington - In a stunning repudiation of the polls, and pending any court challenges almost certainly in the works in certain 'battleground' states, it appears as if the previous President, Bush, has upset Democratic front runner, John F. Kerry, who enjoyed a lead of almost 12 percentage points in some polls, just days before the election. Many once again are scratching their heads to say that perhaps people were more undecided than they had led pollsters to believe.
Etc.
LOL! Looks like Reagan's chimp.
Copies of the speech most likely have been distributed to the meadia for just the purposes you see expressed now....
"I defended this country as a young man and I will defend it as president,"
Wow, this phrase should go down in history with other great quotes like -
"Honey, please don't call me your poodle in front of my friends."
And -
"Look at that one uncle Ted, I think she's worth $500 million."
He seems to imply that he'd use the "more robust military at home" here in the U.S. to combat terrorists, while depending on "strong alliances overseas" to combat them abroad. Surely he's heard of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 , unless he means he'd wait until we were attacked again here on U.S. soil, and then get Congressional approval for martial law?
It's nice to see Miss Cleo has found gainful employment.
They no doubt already have a copy of the speech and are using that for this story.
Still, it is dishonest reporting.
Ummm...no, I'm not stunned by my reaction. The Associated Press exists to provide news to media outlets who may otherwise not have access to it. In this case, the reasonable explanation is that the Kerry camp provided a copy of the speech and itinerary so that a story would be available for newspapers with early evening deadlines.
It is not uncommon for figures in either party to provide copies of speeches beforehand. Not only for the reason above, but to provide reporters with a reference when writing their stories.
Max makes a great stump speech!
