I caught that exchange on the radio yesterday and got the opposite reaction from yours.

The guy was a rude jacka$$ toward a gov. official. He talked over & interrupted Asa ad nauseum, not letting him explain or even comment on said jacka$$'s questions. I think radio man was the one who sounded like a witless fool.

Even though there needs to be better border controls, we do not know what is going on behind the scenes concerning them. That is what I think Asa was trying to convey but could not disclose on the air.

And I have heard no viable plans from those who want closed borders. It would be a colossal undertaking to say the least. Manpower, lots of money and time that we just don't have. If the people who want to harm us are not already here they would surely find a way in regardless.

Little or nothing.

Most likely true, but let's make it even easier for them, eh?

By the way, it is time for somebody like that host to get in the face of government officials. The guy did interrupt poor, harmless, weak Asa, but Asa was foolishly bogus.... and to think I really liked him when he was messing with 'The Bent One' during impeachment!

Asa took a job that he should not have. I got the feeling from his weak and sloppy response that he regretted being put in the position.

Too bad, Asa, you took the job, and had NO answers and came off as an IDIOT..... and it wasn't because you couldn't talk about "secure" information.

Asa was lame ........... period. And his responses illustrated that the pressure from the Mexican government ended the "roundups", and poor Asa KNEW it. He should QUIT! He seems like a nice guy, but he's in the wrong job! (I guess you don't live anywhere in California!)
