The donut part I get, but what about bread, or are you Atkinsing? My point was you don't have to be a lazy man to have soft hands. What about chefs, chemists, doctors, engineers, architects, designers, etc? Not all manly men have calluses.

I don't do fad(s) dieting. Moderation is the plan. I have met and shook the hands of hetero men who are doctors, chemists and they had strong tough manly hands. I've also shook the hand of hetero men who have similiar occupations and their hands were soft and mushy like a new born babies bottom. Grossed me out. And I soon learned they were the ones who "shoved" their work load onto others ie., lazy

Hey!
My husband is a doctor (surgeon) and he has some of the strongest, most manly hands I've ever seen on a man...oh, and by the way? He can fix anything and everything that breaks around the house...wonderful!
