Was it Animal House where they had the "double-secret detention" or something?

"These guys have a low estimate of the intelligence of the American people."

Oh, I don't think that's exactly true. They target the voters that really are that stupid because they know that intelligent people aren't going to vote for them anyway. And they don't even have to bother to appeal to the koolaid klub, because those DUhmmies going to vote for them no matter what.

"If you start to put out proposals now, they would be vigorously attacked and they would effect become tainted so they couldn't be used."

Huh? This is why I like Bush....he's not afraid to continue on his path even when it is not the most popular thing to do. That's a real leader....sKerry is so pathetic!!!!!

This might just be the stupidest thing I've ever heard said....."we won't tell what we're gonna do..."

Had GW tried this in the last election the media would have served his heart for lunch in big headlines.

But they WILL let Kerry do this, AND they will carry the water for him on it.

But of course the polls have shown that Terry Kerry appeals to educated women, so there will indeed be intelligent people voting for sKerry...NOT.

A top economic advisor to Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry said the public won't hear Kerry's financial plans until after he's elected - if he's elected.

In the Aug. 2 cover story of "Business Week," former Clinton administration treasury secretary Robert Rubin said, "I don't think you can make proposals to try to dig out of this hole until you've gotten elected ... If you start to put out proposals now, they would be vigorously attacked and they would in effect become tainted so they couldn't be used."

HELLO ... is Robert Rubin his economic advisor ????

The Same Robert Rubin that made the phone call on behalf of Enron??

ROTFLMAO. I went back to check to make sure this wasn't posted under humor. The total failure of Kerry to function on the same plane of reality as the rest of normal, even somewhat abnormal people is utterly amazing.

Wouldn't it be nice to have the candidates proposals presented to the public so voters can make a well informed decision?
This guy is wedged. If he reveals his tax plan, which more than likely is to tax all, he is toast. (Leopards can't change their stripes you know.) If he takes Bush's position of cutting taxes, he is offering the same as Bush, so who needs him.
It seems to me that Clinton promised a cut in taxes back in '92. Then he moaned that he had worked the hardest that he ever had to get the tax cut but had to raise taxes instead. Sounds like the same set up but Kerry doesn't know how to lie like Clinton. Kerry's toast.

it appears master macauliffe has put a halt to any further definition of Kerrys "plans". If you dont want people to catch the pig, makes sure you keep it greased up well.
It'll be interesting now if hes going to try and set up a cockfight with bush ( debate). Bush needs work in this area but he could potentially slam dunk ole senator windsock . whadya think?
