dawn, I think we are going to find out what America is made of in this election. Afterwards, we will know I do believe and it will be a watershed moment if there is an attack. Some days I think we are lost driven by a populace of naive, uneducated, emotion driven wretches who want a handout and a pretty face and a drama in the white house. Other days, I think we are very solid and the noisemakers are drowning out a country full of good people. I think this election will make it clear what we are.
Amen. The radical wing of the Democratic MUST be squashed for the good of those that follow us. Those libs are reliving the 60's and have cast off ALL semblance of common sense. I believe the Michael Moore wing will be killed dead. W has just begun to fight.
CajunGirl, great post. I go through exactly the same thought processes. I really believe, like you, that we're going to find out in this election whether America still has a backbone and a fundamental core of common sense. If we elect this poser and his retinue into the White House, I think we are effectively done as a country. Might take a while to happen, but our military, our economy, our self-respect, our governmental system, our spirituality -- it's all going down the drain. Sounds strong, but I believe that.
