I'm not disputing what you say about Russert but why does Rush support him so often and so strongly?

Because Russert gives Rush an hour of face time on his MSNBC show every year - around Thanksgiving, I believe.

I never put 2 + 2 together: Russert and Rush at Thanksgiving! Of course! Disappointed in Rush--even at the pinnacle, apparently it's all about wanting more of the spotlight...
