Re: Biden explaining away Kerry and Edwards' vote against funding the troops."

There is no explaining away the vote, so said John Kerry in that infamous Face the Nation clip where he explains no one would be so irresponsible as to vote against it, which he then did !

LOL . This one will come back to bite him in the ass via in W's commercials.

I just had a thought of agreement with you...

What is the one thing that sticks out about Bush 41? He said, "Read my lips: no new taxes!", yet there were new taxes...and/or more of the old ones.

(One of the rules, as a former bookkeeper, that you never violate: NEVER mess with people's money.)

Even President Reagan regretted his decision to raise taxes (after having cut them, to similar consternation from the Left). However, I don't recall him bragging about how irresponsible it would be to raise taxes, then raising them, then BOASTING of how proud he was at raising them (and then saying that it was a complicated issue).

Flurch Munster and the Breck Girl win that award, hands...out?
