You recollection about Kerry's recent complaint about spending money building firehouses in Iraq...implying we need them more here than there. The church bombings in Iraq prove they need firehouses in Iraq. It points out Kerry's shortsightedness, his pettiness.

He said we were closing firehouses here. That piqued my attention as I have never seen a firehouse closed. Has anyone ever seen a firehouse closed for lack of money?
