You know I have thought about the use of kids this way. This is serious business not picking a cult of personality. I think the kids and wives don't belong in big roles at conventions. I think it is hokey, unserious and ridiculous. All those kids at the kerry convention totally turned me off. The only kid anyone wants to see is Caroline Kennedy just because she is mysterious. I think the first family ought to be mysterious. They are not the candidate.
Yes they do, and I like both of them. I just rather them be seen, interviewed, supportive but not featured as a guest speaker.
I had forgotten about Laura. She would certainly make a fine speaker.
