Someone need to ask Kerry/Edwards if they support a law that allows "working families" to show up for their jobs only 13% of the time but get paid 100%.

Keep the pressure on! The outcome is unlikely but it highlights yet another hole in the sorry record of John Forbes Kerry. I'll wager Kerry won't step down even if Mass. passes its law so their republican govenor can't appoint a republican replacement.

You tried, and gained valuable experience - for sure!!! It will be interesting to continue to see how this all will play out. Meanwhile, MOST of us know what an arrogant and condescending man John Effen Kerry is. It's true, there ARE two Americas - One for the likes of John Effen Kerry and John Edwards and another for the rest of us plebians.

Thanks for your hard work on this and for sharing it!! WELL DONE!!!

I wonder if he would resign the Senate if he was elected President. After all, he could probably still manager 13%...

I wish we had a press that would ask him that question..

Well if Kerry is elected President, he will probably be about 13% effective as his previous Dem role-model was. No surprise there...it is amazing what the Congress can get away with, virtually at will, and in the face of other members that insist on their members obeying the law.

The framers of the Constitution did a beautiful job, except for one thing...they simply did not foresee the evolution of the "professional politician"...and the effect it would have on the government of our country.

The Hofstra law student is considering alternatives to press his point

Bill O'riely loves this kind of stuff, ask the O'riely Factor to broadcast the story.

This is the pits, it's not right. All of us pay his salary, and he has not served his time. President Bush campaigns, and is working at the same time.

He noted that no deductions have been made in over 100 years, and "reasonable uncertainty over the continued viability" of the statute Stein says has been violated.

Soooooooooooooo because it hasn't been done in 100 years is the reason for dismissing the case??

Their argument is specious. When the FCC started to levy fines on Howard Stern, the counter argument was the same but they lost.

Kerry just held a presser calling for an intel czar, criticizing Bush (Doh), bragging about what he's going to do, and calling for Congress to return to deal with the matter.

As he's saying this I'm thinking, "you POS, you won't bother to show up but you want the rest of Congress to go back to DC?" Apparently a reporter asked him about it and he answered he would show up to vote and debate.

I hate this turd. If he's so confident about being elected, why doesn't he resign?

Jonathon,

On behalf of all of us here on FR, THANK YOU!! You have learned a lot from your experience. Keep up the good fight!

Doing some quick math, I have decided that I can now take on additional employment at liberally biased firms based upon Kerry's own work history.

If I actually show up for work only 13% of the time, then I can work a total of 7.692 jobs. For the purpose of simplicity, let's say only 7 jobs. That should put me well on to the road of a being a multi-millionaire (without having to marry into money...). And, thanks to John "Hey, did you know I served in VietName and got three Purple Hearts?" Kerry, I can cite to any future employer that working only 13% of the time has been duly sanctioned not just by Kerry himself but also by the Senate.

Nice work, my friend. You are right. They are wrong. And their weaseling exposes them as frauds. It would have been great if the Secretary of the Senate had said, "The law is the law, and we will enforce it."

But going in, I didn't expect that level of legality nor integrity, did you? I think you did as much as you could, and far more than most even imagine.
