Sorry, we disagree. Look at the picture of this bullet from the Warren Commission Report. The base is slightly deformed, but the tip is pristine.
Either way, its going to be looked at again.

What's that damage on the tip? Do you see it? Do you also understand by the time the bullet hit bone it was keyholing and traveling sideways causing the damage to the rear?
