As many of you are aware the elite media leans to the left. They were all over Bush's National Guard service record but have been silent in regards to Kerry's Vietnam service & his alliance with Jane Fonda. Kerry himself in 1971 admitted to committing atrocities during the four month's while in country. Will the soon to be released book Unfit for command blow this potential scandal wide open? Will the media finally be forced to report on these important issues? One can only hope he will get the same scrutiny placed on President Bush.
I think the fact that the Kerry campaign is already trying to shut the ads down will make news.
If they do, it will be spun in such a way as to make the accusers look bad. They have enlisted John McCain to trash the accusers. Just like Bill Clinton, Kerry will skate. You just wait and see. But I still think President Bush will be reelected.
Let the Dhimmis rant and rave... it is really out in the public now and there is no denying it. They have done all a favor by trying to get it out of public view. Free publicity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it correct that there is NO statute of limitations for "war crimes"? Seems that would be true as every now and them you read about someone charged as a murderer in the Nazi death camps 60+ years ago.......they are deported. I would think that Kerry would want to set the record straight on this by releasing any information he has to refute the eyewitness accounts of the Swift Boat vets. These men give powerful testimony!!
Not by us. Thank the Lord for the Internet.
You would think the media would be raising holy hell over a self confessed war criminal running for president. If he were a Republican the media would be sreaming.
I hope it will, but the media's unabashedly lop-sided standards for Democrats vs. Republicans does not seem to offend the public's sensibilities, and a double standard could simply become the norm.
All despicable but this is what you get because the republicans do not have the nerve to criticize dems over the truth. Here is my suggested statement by President Bush:
"Neither I nor my campaign have anything to do with this book, but apparently it is supported by a group of 250 veterans, most of whom are highly decorated veterans. For that reason, I am not going to presume to criticize their service any more than I have criticized Sen. Kerry's. But I would point out that SENATOR KERRY is the only candidate in this race to have criticized the other's military service."
Alas, anything that is critical of Republicans or Bush will knock this off the front pages in a flash. If there is a kanagroo in Australia born with two tails, that will also supersede any facts about Kerry's cowardice, treason or continuing refusal to release records or tell the truth. I'm betting the NYT will even dust off the Augusta golf club that won't let women join (although, maybe not if it leads to the clubs that John and Terry Kerry belong to that won't admit Jews, blacks or non-Brahmins).
Pffft. Yeah right.
He should mention that they have the same right to voice their concerns as McCain.
These guys are not the same group that attacked McCain. They know Kerry. McCain doesn't.
