Even apart from the lies, this is a ghastly bad movie review. His big objection seems to be that the film didn't feature the spin he wanted to put on the war, to maximize his former and future political career.

In short, Copolla's vision wasn't Kerry's vision, therefore it was a failure. But Copolla's mission in the film was not to polemicize and propagandize, but to entertain.

And who the hell pluralizes the word "shrimp" with an "s"?! Did he wash them down with beers?

Well the second depends on the circumstances "a six pack of beer", "a couple of beers" are both correct.

but "I had shrimps and beers" is double wrong.
