I don't recall specific comments about her "figure" but more of her overall appearance. She was regularly referred to as "the guy on the Quaker Oats box."
Erm, safe for work...?
Oh definitely, no nudity at all. I wouldn't be serve as a servant of the Devil by linking you to that.
Kate Dillon--works for me! I like 'em with a little meat on 'em...!
Yes, this is absurb. There are various indices of obseity. Edward's wife is obese (you can tell by the high percentage of body fat). Why do the Dems care? Because they are like a product that is of little value, but they need to advertise it heavily to make sales. A fat woman is a liability, at least to the Dems. If a fat woman supported tax cuts and a strong military, I would send her a lifetime supply of McDonalds double cheeseburgers. Once again, it is the party of diversity that shuns the fat woman.
I can't remember what comedian said it, but he had a joke about a friend of his wife. His wife said her friend wasn't fat, but big boned. He responded, "I've never seen bone jiggle like that."
You go, girlfriend!
I thought his kids were barely toddlers? Or are those grandkids. I hope that's not what you were referring to!
You don't remember the comments about her 'matronly' figure? They also continually commented on her lack of fashion sense compared to Nancy Reagan's, though in the next breath they'd excoriate Nancy for thinking herself better than everyone else.
Maroons.
Niiiice....my wife is built like that. Good eastern European stock.
Um, not like old DDR shotputters, you understand...
Classic victim language. Next we'll have federal affirmative action programs for fat women.
Look ladies, it's a choice. You can't force us to marry you. You can either be the kind of woman we want, or you can be single and die alone in a house full of cats. It's your choice.
What is it with cats? You never hear about a "crazy dog lady"
The Barbara Bush Commemorative Dollar
Hair pulled back, no makeup, no pearls.
Rubbish, people have different metabolisms. I can eat pretty much however I like and my weight always seems to stay in the 190-210 range (I'm 6'3"). Other people of a similar height might eat the same way as me and tend to be much thinner or much heavier.
In any case, from the pictures of Mrs. Edwards that I've been able to find (not many), she looks to be a fairly attractive woman who's perhaps a little on the heavy side of what is considered (unrealistically) ideal in our society.
Yes, but didn't you know that what you marry isn't always what you wind up with? Hell, I know too many men who's wives gained extra lbs over the year and not much that they can do about it. My old lady and I are not married yet and she's been packing them on and then acting hurt when I express any displeasure about it....
sigh.....
I mean, not like you have to lead them much.
