like the SD was to the SS?
Well just remember their names, and if God forbid Kerry wins, let`s debate them a fews year later when this country is in absolute utter hell with it`s fourth terror attack, taxes up the azz, and Kerry is involved in his 22nd or 23rd "gate" whether it be siphoning money off to the commies or putting national security more at risk because he`s being blackmailed over a sexual tryst or secretly taking orders from France.
Who I vote for won't matter, the electoral votes for my state are a given.
Nice tactful reply. I'm generally not nearly so polite to the loyalty-oath doorkickers. When I'm in a good mood, I remind them that we have a Secret Vote in this country, and its a treasured institution that people fought and died to preserve, and I'm not going to dishonor THEIR sacrifice just so that I can satisfy the pathological obsession of some pushy stranger who insists on sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
When I'm not in a good mood, well, I try to keep my mouth shut. ;)
Fox News has become CNN-Lite in an attempt to prove they're "balanced".
ROTFL!
That said, I disagree with certain policies of the current administration (illegals; prescription drug coverage; pork barrel funding of the NEA and NEA; etc) but when it comes to pragmatic, practical conservatism, I'm not going to use my vote to "teach the RNC a lesson."
I plan on fighting the good fight: the fight for conservatism.

But of course. Sounds like "A Good First Step", as they say.
Free Republic is an online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America. And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!
According to the owners of this site, it is NOT a Republican fan club. It is a grass roots CONSERVATIVE web site. So go pound sand if you ain't got the nuts to debate.
For people who are in swing states I can see the dilemma. For people who are in states where the electoral vote is a given, we are free to vote for the person who best represents us.
Doesn't that sound like fun? Wouldn't that be a productive use of our time?
I agree...which is exactly the outcome liberal attackers hoped for I think.
I thought we did that last year.
That would be a first for this joint.
I'll stay here and propound the virtues of real conservatism and freedom.
Even today, Brian Wilson and Stewrat Varney on Foxnews were making an analysis that Hurricane Charley is going to hurt President Bush like Hurricane Andrew hurt his father in 1992.
If Brain Wilson and Stewart Varney did a little research they would have know that GHWB Bush won Florida in 1992!!!!! This is really dumb and embarrassing.
We cannot trust Foxnews lately.
Do we really need another mushy moderate pep-rally?
Judges, taxes, WoT, ICC, Kyoto etc etc etc.
And I for one remember the discussion prior to the y2k election. Some people have short memories, apparently. Thank goodness there is no Ross Perot for them to vote for this time.
I like very much what you said.
