What if they had their war and no one came?
Is there any reason why the Republican Convention couldn't just pull up stakes and move to Houston? In this day of text messaging, cell phones, pagers, e-mail, and fax, why not just notify the delegates that NYC is off? Media coverage is going to be minimal anyway, so that's no great loss. Just write it off and take the Party somewhere else.
I'd love to see the scuzzballs try to hold their protests in a city where most of the residents take a very dim view of anarchists.

For the convention, yes, But the riots will be covered 24/7, and it's all the GOP's fault. The presstitutes will revel in the destruction and disruption.
