Dosn't he have secret service protection......I wonder where they where during this?
Former Vice Presidents do not get Secret Service protection. Former President Bill Clinton issued an Executive Order giving former VP Gore Secret Service protection for 6 months following Jan 20, 2001.
I'd be willing to bet, that just as with the vacation in Italy, Al Goron told his Secret Service detail he didn't need them. Bwwwwwhahahahaha! That got him robbed in Italy - and now a ticket in Oregon.
