ST. LOUIS, Missouri (AP) -- Authorities are searching for a pack of highway stunt motorcyclists blamed for a wreck that seriously hurt five people in a sport utility vehicle.
A handful of motorcyclists were on Highway 364 Saturday when they changed lanes and cut off a Ford Explorer, forcing that vehicle to swerve to the right and hit a Chevrolet Suburban.
The Suburban tumbled down an embankment, ejecting most of its eight occupants. Five people in that vehicle were seriously injured; the other three sustained lesser harm. Only one was wearing a seat belt.

By some accounts, a chase vehicle was filming the motorcyclists.
Witnesses said the motorcyclists were "riding wheelies, showing off, doing stunts," with another vehicle following them, Patrol Cpl. Jeff Myers said. He called the antics "total disregard for the safety of others."

I ride and have for a long time now, and NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING pisses me off more then when I see people doing this kind of crap on the highways and public roads! Not even the ignorant smokers that flick their still burning butts out their windows while I am behind or beside them and have to dodge the little napalms.
Folks pulling this sort of stuff need the book thrown at them.. they are threat to the rest of the folks on the road, and also help cause the vast majority of motorcycles to get bad repuations.
I say find em and throw the book at em, ever damn charge you can come up with and no plea bargaining them away.
I bet if you take a poll of cagers, more of them get angry over loud pipes than stunting.
Yea, right... cagers are mad over loud pipes over rice rockets cutting them off with their kids in the car and pulling stupid stunds around their vehicles.....

Didn't happen to be in Peurto Rico about 25 years ago when I was sight seeing on a rental motorcycle and an on coming car crossed over and came right at me?
That car was driving at cursing speed too.
