I've been on low carb diet for about 4 months now(South Beach). It's the only diet that I've ever been on for this long. But I didn't know that have low carb ice cream! What's the name of it? I know there's a low carb pizza. It's ok but nothing like the real thing!

"Carb Select" is a very fine-tasting, low-carb, low-sugar ice cream.

There are several companies with 'low carb' ice cream. Just look for the "No Sugar Added". They still have carbs because of the lactose in the milk, but not the added sugar. Breyer's is sweetened with Aspartame (Equal) but I like Edy's because it's sweetened with Sucralose (Splenda). I ususally don't like diet soda cause I don't like aspartame, but I found Diet Rite soda, and it's sweetened with Sucralose. They have a Cola flavor, as well as a White grape flavor and a Tangerine that is just too tasty for words!!

I've tried some of the Atkins products and I just couldn't STAND them!! The low carb yogurt is WAY too sweet. I had to mix a small carton of it with an equal amount of plain yogurt to make it palatable. For a creamy snack, I'll put some Splenda in plain yogurt and put some frozen strawberries in it, or mix some Splenda in some ricotta cheese and use the Splenda and either put some vanilla or almond flavoring in it, or just add some fruit. Good eatin!

Sorry Lady I had left by the time I got your post. The ice cream is Breyers Low Carb and the chocolate is pretty good. It reminds me of the Wendy's Frosty.
