Politically, I believe Bush could handle this crowd with a good reminder to the reasonable American people that it is of course always easier to tear down than to build up. When fixing an appliance it is always easier to take the thing apart than to get it together. And tell the public that the crowds in the streets, (though he would fight for their right to free speech, of course), are doing the easy work. He and the convention goers present are involved in the building up of the USA.
