...then click on Sarandon.
(I don't remember how to make a link)
This infuriates me.
When my grandchildren come I always felt safe with Nick.
This is an example as to why those people were once excluded from society. Now we have "tolerance" and the recruitment starts. "Tolerance" as a referent today actually means; the inability to say yes or no, the inability to take a stand!
You're awesome baby.
Well, you know awesome when you see it....you really are "NO FOOL"
Nickelodeon = Viacom = CBS = MTV
I didn't know they were all Viacom. I need to do some investing in DVD's.
I'm going to bump this thread tomorrow, so people who are obsessing over the President's speech (rightly so) will be informed of this.
My children are no longer allowed to watch Nickelodeon for 2 reasons. The first was that my SO acccidently turned on DeGrassi The Next Generation (he was trying for Star Trek NG which was one channel down. LOL) at 4 in the afternoon. There were two teenage boys kissing. The same month, they showed kids talking about Dubya in some little commercial. 2 of the kids were raving liberal mouthpieces already and only the 3rd and last kids spoke positively about him. No more Nick for this family.
PSA's shown during Nick shows can come from either Nick or the cable or satellite provider.
My cable provider regularly runs tons of PSA's.
Is your friend certain that the PSA wasn't run from his local cable or sattelite provider?
Honestly, I just don't believe Nick would do something that dumb. In a hyper-competitive business that lives and dies by ratings, this would be suicidal.
I wanted to add that the guys who program the PSA's at local cable companies (as opposed to networks like Nick) are not the brightest, most responsible people. They're overworked, and paid next to nothing for a boring job.
I could easily believe that some guy working in the local cable office got a "Susan Sarandon PSA" in the mail, then just popped it into the rotation without even looking at it (or just barely looking at it and hardly listening while he was trying to do ten other things in the office.)
anyway, I'd definitely be interested if this could be confirmed that Nick played a pro-"gay love" PSA in the middle of Rugrats All Grown Up. like I said, I just can't believe Nick would do that.
Rosie Odonalds recreational sex parter has some kind of ad/programing job at Nickolodion.
We should be pushing the cable/satelite companies for Ala cart programming. Let those who PAY decide what they want. Why should I have to pay for recreational sex propaganda to be bundled?
How about this at least, force programmers to include "H" in the parental warnings for "homosexual content" then parents have the ability to use the parental controls to keep that content away from children. Seems REASONABLE to at lease WARN.
use the V chip feature on all modern TV's. It blocks off useless channels from your surfing. (homeshopping,CNN healine news,MTV.)
they are that dumb. (see president commercial the emphasises Reagan acted with a monkey)
It is easier to ask forgivness than ask permission.
They try it and if no-one complains, they run with it.
To contact Nickelodeon, write to them at this address:

I gather you haven't seen the Wiggles yet.
Not yet. What is it? Which network?
I watched a program on Nick "news" where an adult was facilitating discussion amongst kids. The moderator brought up the subject of gay parents and "why does anyone think that's wrong?" then continued making the case for families headed by gay parents. It was intentional, they had a chance to edit that out, but of course they left it in...Nickelodeon chose to present that subject matter in that way to kids....that was more than a year ago and the 'agenda' has only become bolder.
