His is a really sad story. He was rejected by his family and friends- even by strangers. It is awful to think about the way Vietnam vets were treated on their return. No wonder so many of them have had problems.
I applaud his apology, though. He can't undo the cruelty shown to him but he can correct the misstatements made years ago through VVAW.
And at least we FReepers can let them know that we know that they are heroes. I've always thought they were. Just as I could never bear to watch Clinton lie I could never listen to or read about the thing these lying VVAW said.
And Kerry is a lying snake to have used people to advance his Anti War Pro-Communist agenda. I hope all the talk shows will cover this.
It's good that Mr. Pitikin set the record straight. He should watch out though , Kerry and the lefty goons are going to trash him like they've been trashing the Swift boat vets.
