They are no different than the "good Germans" who adored Hitler.
You are doing the Germans a great injustice. Hitler never won more than 30% of any popular vote.
My family is of German heritage, although we had left what is now Germany for Russia, and later for the US, decades before Hitler came to power.
It was a horrific embarrassment, even before the death camps became known. German was no longer spoken in the home, even behind closed doors, except for the old people who knew no English.
