I was not aware that MacNamera was a Repbulican. I didn't think a Republican could be that dumb.

Goldwater looks more and more like one of the great men of American politics, who unfortunately never got much of a chance to seriously influence or make policy.

I'll never forget the story an admiral told about McNamara ordering all the Navy patrol boats to back off from the South Vietanm coast so that a North Vietnam supply boat could come through and resupply the Viet Cong.

Didn't want the mean ol' U.S. Navy interferring with his boys, I guess.

Have a friend who use to be a chef at Aspen. When Iacocca came to the ski area for fun, she usually cooked the meals. She indicated he's a "rough, earthy" individual. Anyway, I'm with you. I can't stand McNamara either. At 88, I bet she's doing all the work and he still can't get it up.

Considering that Mr. Clueless made it to Lt. Col in the Air Force, it's a wonder we didn't lose WWII. Man, was I ever happy when he retired right on time at age 65 and could no longer do much more damage than just running around talking up every leftist cause on the planet.

"...was the Ford Falcon."

I learned to drive a stick in a 1962 Ford Falcon. Ugly little sucker, but Ford did improve it a couple years later.

"After what they did to Stevenson, you've just got to show them your face. Texans respect that, Jack, and you know, there's an election coming up. Be a nice get-away for you and Jackie. Lotsa good shopping Dallas. She'll like that. Ya'll just go have yourself a fine time."

McNamara, Johnson, Kerry and Ho Chi Minh --- members of the axis of evil and death for America's finest... I'll pray McNamara meets his fate in Hell, and welcomed by a lot of the communist bastards we sent there ahead of him... I hope McNamara's new wife is young enough to burn his stupid ass out faster than normal.. Semper Fi

Come on now, don't hold back. Let it all out

There's only one man who can make Les Aspin, aka Mr. Blackhawk Down, look like Henry Stimson: Rob McNamara. As incompetent as the Toon cabinet was, from Halfwit to Hazel O'Leary, nobody will ever have been as disastrous to this country as the Whiz Kid from Ford.
