Have you read the Mark Steyn article in the Chicago Sun- Times today? He says that Ruppert Murdoch owns the Times of London, and the font in question, Times New Roman, was designed in the 1930s for that newspaper. Mr. Murdoch did not lease the Times New Roman font to Microsoft until sometime in the 1980's. If this is true---there is no way this memo could have been written in the 1970's; there would not be a type writer anywhere with this font on it. Have someone check this out. This info could be the "smoking gun" if true. Go to Lucianne.com; his article is posted there.

The IBM Selectric Composer which I believe CBS is claiming the documents could have/were created with did not use Times New Roman, but Press Roman. Also included were Aldine Roman, Bodoni Book, Univers, and Pyramid. Fonts included are listed on page 30.
