If the documents are indeed forgeries (and it looks like they probably are) then they obviously come from , are sponsored and/or underwritten by the DNC. But the greatest use the DNC could put them to would be this: these documents could be used as a trial balloon to see if a clever (but not clever enough) forgery could pass muster once released to the media and public. The ultimate objective could be to then forge some clamored-for Kerry documents at the 11th hour in the same way and using the same techniques. If the fake Bush docs could pass unnoticed and still be taken as real, then they could get away with the fake Kerry docs.

Clue into reality, they ARE fakes. To be real, Killian had to "somehow" type memos in 1972 that "happened" to EXACTLY mimic the default settings of MS Word.... thirty years earlier. These are the same odds that a parrot could peck out the Gettysburg Address on a typewriter in one hour. Or a monkey could type a Shakespeare sonnet, perfectly. IOW, beyond astronomical. They ARE forgeries. Period.
