No, I don't think it will be Rather. After reading the
Washington Post article it seems like it will be Mary Mapes who gets thrown off the train.
They seem to be putting full responsibility on Mapes, not only for researching the story for the past five years, but for vetting the documents with experts.

Indeed, that story in the WPost last night indicated that no on above Mapes knew the source. She alone was responsible for validation. It's going to insulate Dan some but his actions after the story fell apart are indefensible.
