Since he cited Barnes as a source, this is a small tear to start ripping into his credibility and the fact that the dates don't match - Bush signed up in 1968, Barnes didn't become Lt. Governor until 1969 - how can Barnes get Bush further into the TANG that he voluntarily enlisted in.
