"did you ever notice how people are all the time giving you a piece of
paper and they say it's one thing when it's really something else? why
is that? i have several pieces of paper here. they all have writing on
them. some of it is in pencil. some of it is in pen. but they all weigh
the same amount. here are some pages with typing on them, and here are
some that came from a computer, which is a kind of typewriter that has
wires coming out of it. they weigh the same, too. but here's something
you might not have guessed: the ones from the typewriter and the ones
written on in ink weigh the same as each other. it's a confusing world.
no wonder we're confused. because when you get right down to it, one
piece of paper with writing on it is the same as another piece of paper
with writing on it. and once it has writing on it, it's all used up."
