They went through the polite motions of an apology. They said they Heyward had initiated an investigation. The question is will the MSM lose their will to investigate a criminal conspiracy to unseat a sitting President in time of war or will the pajama people be on their own to seek justice and take this country back from tentacles of a political party that uses a broadcast network to do their criminal bidding.

Amen to that! Have you ever seen such a lousy attempt to end this forgery case with Burkett (but, Burkett say he didn't forge anything)! Never did they press the question about where Burkett got them and just let him off with a "another source" answer. They didn't even ask about the Cleland and Burkett connection, which Cleland admits.

So, they want us to believe that Burkett is their "unimpeachable source" when it's well known in National Guard circles that he has a long standing grudge and an axe to grind against Bush. Somebody "fronted" for Burkett and vouched for him, and all the smart money is betting that someone is connected to the DNC and Kerry campaign!
