I tuned-in half way through. Rush was reading a terrific piece about how the dems' power linked to gov't size -- and how a 2004 defeat sets them back at least a generation.
Anyone catch the author or source of the article?
TIA, Dave
I'll go check his stack of stuff and see if I can locate it...
Grover Norquist, I believe.
baloney! the dems have their strongest candidate in a generation already lined up for 2008. and we don't have an heir apparent.
if they take a dive in 2004, you can bet they'll be back ever stronger in 2008.
You mean the Dem's have Obi-Wan Kenobi for a 2008 candidate :)
You know you can catch Rush at 12:00 PM CDT on WISN in
Milwaukee, 1130 AM on the dial. He is an hour later than
WLS in Chicago, that is if you're in the Chicago area and
can get Milwaukee stations.
It was posted here yesterday or the day before. I bookmarked it, but I don't know how to find my bookmark list. It isn't on my profile page like it used to be.
Riiiiight! You can't be thinking of Hillary? You aren't serious are you? The Republicans may be even stronger next time out. I think Rudy will be the front runner.
Take a deep breath and pace yourself.
ding sing ding, dere it is
Click Links on your profile page..it's there.
I agree but there is one factor, well a couple of factors t take into consideration.
One is, ofcourse, the unknown. We don't know what could happen in four years, on the national security front.
Two, if Bush wins, and let's hope he does. These people are going to implode. They are going to simply go mad. You can hear the shreiking, hysterical tone in their voices now. The claims are getting more outlandish by the day. If they are stuck with Bush for four more years, oh man...all bets are off at the damage they can and will do to their own party.
I can't believe that Hitllery will be the Demonrats' "strongest candidate in a generation." Have polls been taken that support that contention?
While we're at it, did you get the name of the piece from Ronald Brownstein on how the Dems are losing their power since they don't have goodies to give away?
Has Rush said anything trenchant about Donovan McNabb lately?
How about Rudy Giuliani, Rick Santorum?
for them they do. their party will be much more united under the hildebeast. and don't let your (and my) animosity to her taint an objective evaluation that she can and will run stronger than anything they have run in many elections. We ought not th get overconfident.

you are correct - it is Norquist. It may be a townhall.
