The border problem has to be solved and soon. Ignoring it won't make it go away. Here in MA we have illegal Brazilians, for heaven's sakes, besides thousands of assorted Hispanics of one nation or another. I do believe Mexicans hope to retake the west for Mexico, only they'll call it Azatlan/miniMexico or whatever. It's so annoying that we end up having to solve this hemisphere's social/economic problems, plus everybody else's, plus win the war on terror/defeat/destroy Islam. Meanwhile they demand to vote in our elections, steal us blind.
We need to focus on getting GW reelected, then we'll solve the rest of the world's problems.

militarizing the border is not the answer.
People think that they can stop all illegals with the military on the border........aint so.
People also have some pipe dream that that we can get all of the illegals out of the US.
The reality is.....dems and moderates would not let that pass.
This is where the Guest worker idea, which many have do not want to talk about in whole....because if they do...it show that it is not the amnesty they claim, comes in handy.
The President and the many of the Republicans have indicated on several occasions that there will be the part where...SINCE THEY WILL HAVE TO FILL OUT FORMS FOR THE CARDS.....we will be able to see what immigration law that they have violated THAT WE CAN DEPORT THEM FOR.
It also gives us a way to KEEP TABS ON THEM. And like it or not,.....THAT IS AS CLOSE TO KEEPING TABS ON THEM...FOR THE PURPOSE OF BOOTING THEM OUT IF THEY ARE IN THE WRONG....,THAT WE WILL GET ANYTIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
Dems and moderates WILL NOT let harder laws pass that round them up quicker. THEY ARE ALREADY FIGHTING THE IDEA OF HAVING THEM SIGN FOR THE CARDS....because of it will keep tabs on them.
Right now..this is the closest we will get to keeping tabs on them. Yeah...its just a small step towards eventually solving the problem....but its all we are gonna get for now.
Any other option is Risking All or Nothing with approval....and it will be NOTHING.
THE BORDER PATROL ISSUE...
I have two friends who work for the Border patrol....and they have been waiting for someone to report that they have gotten more modern equipments and that the manpower is being increased. They are tired of seeing even some of their own and try and claim the opposite.
I think they will be happy that Bush brought up the increases.

First question was that a poll showed only 5% of Iraqis appreciate US involvement in Iraq. President Bush responded that they are beginning to appreciate our presence, as services are restored and the sacrifices we are making become apparent.
Would be really nice if O'reily or one of these other Newsmedia clowns would cite this poll. The only poll I have seen is the one by the IRI.org and it totally contradicts what O'reilly and the other DNC whores are reporting.

If he is given 4 more years to work on it, he'll affect an important difference from where it will be after 4 years of Kerry. Of this I am certain. I have grown up near the border. Our enemies would have the entire US/Mexico border in the next 20 years becoming one biiiiggg palestinian-israeli problem.
