Not to worry, Kerry is losing Florida.
Bush is up in Florida according to these polls. Gallup: +3, 22 Sep; Quinnipiac +8, 21 Sep; SurveyUSA +6, 14 Sep.
Only ARG (D) poll has Kerry +1, 20 Sep.

I heard the crowd in Ohio was 60,000, and from that picture it sure looks like it.

They can't simply state the facts, they have to nuance it: "appears", "for now".. etc etc.

It's hard to keep up with all these polls but I'm assuming the 3 with Bush up are very recent? And with all the chaos due to the hurricanes, the fact that many of the areas were gop/gop-leaning who might not be able to answer their phones for a poll for obvious reasons, this is even better news.

Yeah, what is it with this "appears" and "apparently" leads nonsense? We all know if the situation were reversed and Kerry held the lead, the media wouldn't be pulling this bullcrap.

Now, that picture is worth a thousand words.
If it were a Demodog picture, they would have had to make sure they didn't get the busses in the camera angle. With the 'Pubbies, all we have to do is keep the expensive Hummers out of the pic... LOL...

Mr. Devine said. "Bush got a big bounce out of his convention. But the bounce is coming down, and the situation is not favorable to him."Some Swing States Appear to Be Swinging to President"
Sounds pretty favorable to me, "Tad".

As (Bush enemy) Woody Allen said once, 90 per cent of life is just showing up. GWB makes campaign appearances, fires up supporters, and the groundswell is everywhere around, with four and a half weeks to go. The debates are not gonna help Kerry, and in fact may wind up burying him. Depending of course on the nastiness of the partisan media shills on the panel. George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent

The polling data is drawn from different polls, and updated each day. Sooo, it all depends on who gets asked. A friend on another forum said he got polled by phone for about fifteen minutes, stated his support for Bush as needed, and the next day there was a 2 per cent change in favor of Bush (my friend took credit for it, just foolin' around). The internal, private polls commissioned by each campaign are telling a much less volatile and much more accurate story, but we won't get to see those until after the election (if then). The whisper off the record must be out there, must have been for three weeks or so, as the media wing of the Democratic party started to rant and rave anew at that time. George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent
