Gen. Glosson said the U.S. military made three mistakes: not destroying the elite Republican Guard, some of whose officers now lead the insurgency; disbanding the regular Iraqi army, pushing its soldiers toward the insurgency; and stopping U.S. Marines in April as they were clearing Fallujah of terrorists.

This has to do with America being too politically correct. The one thing Islamic Terrorists are not is politically correct. Chronologically the U.S. made only two mistakes. First, was not destroying every thing related to the military and the government in Iraq and concurrently saying we will not stop until we have a unconditional surrender. (which would not have happen - thus, everything related to the government and military would have been destroyed.) Second, is rebuilding Iraq.

Perhaps Fallujah can be a place were we redeem ourselves. To fully understand my line of thought, you need to know that I consider every adult in Fallujah responsible for the current situation - no one in Fallujah has done anything to rid Fallujah of terrorists. In fact, many people of Fallujah have aided the terrorists. That makes everyone in Fallujah part of the problem. Let the women and children get out, but then cordon off all of Fallujah forcing the men to confront their problem. Give the men of Fallujah two weeks to collect all weapons and rid Fallujah of the terrorists. (This won't happen of course.) Divide Fallujah into 14 concentric sectors, radiating from the center of Fallujah. (that is one sector for each of the 14 days in two weeks.) On day one, carpet bomb the outermost sector, forcing the men of Fallujah to the center and to confront the terrorists. Each day the next inner most sector is destroyed. If the men of Fallujah destroy the terrorists - or if the terrorists find it in their souls to save the people of Fallujah and give up, then the bombing can cease. In the end, there will be no terrorists in Fallujah. The second part of this plan is not to rebuild Fallujah. A people who practice a religion stuck in the 7th century can live and die like people of the 7th century. No electricity, no sewage, no water treatment. Fallujah can stand as a monument of what an evil religion does to a people.

What I like about this plan is: 1.) It is simple. 2.) It requires air power only. 3.) The outcome of the plan is clear - there will be zero terrorists remaining. 4.) Our tax dollars are not wasted on rebuilding. 5.) There is now one city in rubble that is a testament to our resolve. Perhaps now they will take us seriously.

For anyone who thinks that I am some war monger wacko, you got me completely wrong. I want zero American casualties and I want to stop the tide of terrorism in its tracks. I mean terrorism world-wide. These wackos haven't received the message and they think they can continue to test our resolve. If you want to see the terrorists resolve, simply watch the beheading videos over and over again for a half hour straight. I'm not afraid. I'm not angry. I'm not mad. At this point, I am just cold, calculating and wanting to end terrorism.
