Your statement is true. Nobody owns Jesus. That is the point.

It is that the majority of Republican platforms do not contradict each other which can not be said of the now Democrat platform which is nothing but contradictions of each other. Jesus platforms are true and right while evil changes itself over and over but always follows what is false and wrong.

The republican platforms follows along the Christian beliefs while the now democrat platform loudly denies these beliefs. Christians who are true to their teachings can not in all that is holy vote democrat unless they have been truly indoctrinated not educated. As a Christian, you can not vote for a party that enjoys death of the innocent unborn, pushes the omittance of anything that represent Christ whether it be a cross, scripture, or the mention of God anywhere. I'm sorry but if you truly walk in Christ, your eyes and soul are opened to evil and you can not vote for a party that wants to destroy your savior and everything he has taught us.

The GOP doesn't own Jesus... No but the DNC has a lock on satan.

Or is it that Satan has a lock on the DNC? Not that it really makes a difference. Its a love fest between the two.

Between liberals and conservatives, which group has ROUTINELY hedonism and self-pleasure above the requirements of self-control and adherence to law and morality?

Er, that SHOULD have been "Between liberals and conservatives, which group has ROUTINELY advocated hedonism and self-pleasure above the requirements of self-control and adherence to law and morality?

It is my fault, because my statement was vague.

-Thanks for the post.

"What example did Jesus set for us but to struggle in love to make things ever better for the poor and the old and the sick?"

It is the liberals who want to remove the cross and references to God/Jesus in public forums. It is the liberals who want to eliminate the old and sick through euthanasia. It is the liberals who want abortion on demand all over the world. It is the liberals who have started the WAR on the unborn. Jesus on our side? No question.

There's a difference between old and sick ,and the able to work but just plain lazy which the majority of welfare recipiants are.

Christian Liberal now if that isn't a perfect example of a oxymoron statement.

That's about like the Pro child/Pro choice bumper sticker I saw last week in Savannah .I had to look twice to make sure that's what I read.

Just as a point, neither Mary nor Joseph were responsible for Jesus' conception. He did just fine.

A more modern example is Michael Reagan who has more of his father in him than the fell far from the apple tree and rolled down the hill into the gutter biological son Ron Reagan.

Jesus also said that Satan was a liar from the beginning and the 'father of all lies'

Its not too difficult to see which candidate is the liar and which party is the party of lies...

Which party is God most likely to affiliate Himself with?....Not too difficult to figure out...

All true Christians must also acknowledge that Jesus is God ...God the Son in existence for all time co equal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit

Jesus is the creator and also the God of the old testament as well as the new...Jesus did not change his nature after becoming human...Jesus is the same God in the new testament as He is in the old...His actions speak for His views in both books...

You need to read the old as well as the new to understand who Jesus Christ REALLY is... Jesus said ...Government does not bear the sword in vain...God is perfect in war and peace and in His timing...He is the God of War when He needs be and the God of peace when He needs be as is His Christ....the socialist revisionist gospel notwithstanding

imo

"I believe abortion is wrong. I also believe it is wrong to bring a child into this world who's only chance for a reasonably normal and successful life is to be raised and cared for by others not responsible for its conception. That, for me, is the dilemma. I don't know the answer."

Who says an unwanted pregnancy is tantamount to failure? How do we know that a life that was conceived unexpectedly will automatically not live a normal life? It's the liberals who push this hypothesis. Why? The want abortion on demand and are getting rich for it. There is absolutely no data to conclude that the children of those who chose life are failures. It's propaganda, my friend. As you know in your heart, abortion is wrong. There is a war going on against the unborn! How dare anyone call the unborn failures without any voice? What kind of justice is that? Remember that the unborn are innocent beings, who should not be abandoned because of their parents' sins. Let's pray to bring the culture of life back into the culture of America.

I know what you mean. I saw one that had a Kerry sticker on her back windshield right next to a little girl kneeling by a cross. I yelled over at her if the little girl was praying for all the babies that have been aborted. Needless to say weeks later, I saw the same SUV only the Kerry sticker was gone. Hopefully, the Lord spoke to her.

The other one I saw was "Billionaires for Bush" with the next line being "Because of tax cuts, we too will be billionaires, honest". Again, I had to roll down my window and asked him if this meant that George Soros, Donald Trump and Ter-e-z-a-a was going to vote for Bush? Sadly, I saw him a few weeks later, he still had the bumper sticker. Of course when you think about it, there is more truth to it than a lie. We can sure get a lot closer to being a billionaire with a tax cut than without.....Honest.

I'm yelling this to the rooftops, it is time for us to be vocal to these indoctrinated fools and let them know they are no longer King of the Hill. We stayed quiet when our brave guys came home from Nam. We can not allow this to happen again. We must learn from history and not allow it to be repeated.

This is pathetic.

They realize that the GOP currently has an edge because devoted Christians have moved into its ranks, so what do they do? Attack the GOP as hoarding JESUS. So one can hoard our SAVIOR!

When not attacking the GOP, they are reaching out to Christians the way they reach out to all of their special interests groups.

I have never said someone couldn't be a Liberal and a Christian. I have never said someone couldn't even believe in abortion, and be a Christian. They would be WRONG to do so, but certainly it's possible.

Christians are not tied to a Party and REFUSE to become so. Their alligiance is first to GOD, so attempts to tie us to a plantation are not going to be successful. The reason Christians are supporting the GOP is because the GOP isn't taking away our rights to worship our GOD in public. They have typically taken the side on social issues that mirror our own. And, many in their ranks are Christians and take devotion to their faith seriously. Whereas many in the Democratic Party are using Him for photo ops.

This person needs to STOP atacking the GOP and start realizing so long as they push abortion, homosexual marriage, prevent school vouchers, support ACLU's attempts to take God out of the schools and the like, that they will not have our votes.

I don't require a pass or even Party to be strongly tied to Christianity. I do demand they evidence respect for my faith and not embrace attempts to muzzle it.

2. Take care of the "least of my brethren."

And what about those who would vote to TAKE AWAY government SUPPORT for the poor?

Jesus says "render unto Caesar", he doesn't say how Caesar should use tax money. Jesus doesn't say that tax collection by the government is "stealing". If the Pharisees had asked, "Should we pay taxes to Caesar who will then use our money to feed and clothe the poor?" How would Jesus respond?

Look folks. The Democrats epitomize the dark side in "Star Wars". Look at what they believe! First it is correct that we should protect and aid the poor and needy, but that is not what is at issue. Both parties want to do that. It is the fact that earners and workers are having their incomes stolen in the form of taxes to be given to non-earners/workers. This creates dependency which is not want we as great beings of light should strive for. We have much more capability than that! Is perhaps the ownership society a better way to go in the area of SS, Health Care, etc.
The second reason that they are the dark side is the issue of marriage. A dog is not a cat. Marriage is between a man and a woman. However, homosexuals are Americans and taxpayers. They should have the same rights (and responsibilities) as straight folks. This does not make homosexuality right or correct. Consider the recent destruction of the Episcopal Church in the USA. Six thousand years of condemnation of that behavior should not be cast aside because of the misapplication of the Golden Rule.
Lastly, abortion is an abomination. One can come down on the side of freedom and say it's my body, etc., but it is not your body since there are in that case TWO bodies involved. Since this ugly law has been enacted, almost 50 million Americans have been slaughtered. Society will pay for this in many ways especially in the loss of the ratio of workers to retirees.
Follow those ideas and you really are on the dark side.
