I can't afford to feel peaceful. I have to requalify on the range this month.

Good night all - it's after 11pm here, and we've won.
I'm off to sleep the sleep of the just and the vindicated.

You lucky dog, It'll be November 3rd. before I get a good nights sleep....that is if the freakin' dems don't screw it up by trying to steal the election...

I think it was the Bali bombing...it's little noted, but as a % of population, Australia suffered a greater loss in the Bali bombing than the US did on 9/11

I was curious about the jobs situation in Australia, since the stories I read seemed to indicate people there were pretty happy with the economy. The September unemployment rate in Australia was 5.6% having been 5.9 % in September of 2003. In the U.S. the rate is now 5.4% and was 6.1% in September 2003. Funny how those numbers are considered excellent by Australians but lackluster by economists here (or a near disastrous, depression-like jobless recovery if you are part of the mainstream U.S. press).
To: Law is not justice but process
Another odd observation. The number of unemployed persons in Australia decreased by 3.4% since last September and Australians are thrilled. The number of unemployed in the U.S. decreased by a whopping 11% and we are in a near disastrous, depression-like jobless recovery, according to the left.

Good on ya, mate. Congratulations on the Coalition's victory and PM Howard's re-election! Here's hoping it is a predictor for Nov. 2!

Thanks naturalman ~ most Americans are very interested in what goes on in Australia ~ you are one of our staunchest and strongest Allies in the war against Islamofascist terrorists!
