Here's my letter:
Dear Board Members of Disney,
It is apparent that ABC News, under the direction of Marc Halperin for its political coverage, has officially joined the crowd of the "coerced."
Mr. Halperin's internal memo has inflicted yet another slap in the face of the American people, who's trust was once again violated by the mainstream liberal media.
It is painfully obvious that ABC News did not learn from CBS and the Dan Rather Memogate. ABC News hasn't learned that the American people are very capable of formulated their own opinion. We don't need nor do we want our news "shaped" in a way that reflects the political leanings of Mr. Halperin or any other news executive.
Please, do the right thing and fire Mr. Halperin. Apologize to the American public for violating the public trust and do everything in your power to begin the restoration of journalistic integrity.
Until Mr. Halperin is removed from his position, I will not support the ABC Network or its sponsors. I suspect that many Americans will join me in that effort.
Regards,
After the ABC Memo was reported by John Cameron, Brit jumped in and said Mark Halprin was a decent guy. Hey, Brit, if Halprin is deliberately rigging the news coverage to favor Kerry he's not a decent guy.
