While the premise of this article has merit - namely that the viurlent oppostition to Bush may be a reaction against his faith - the conclusion that homosexuality is the ultimate basis of the argument is pure drivel.

The Islamists hate us not merely because of homosexuality, but because we are NOT devotees of Allah.

I think post #9 has a better take on the premise of the article.

"The Islamists hate us not merely because of homosexuality, but because we are NOT devotees of Allah."

What the heck are you talking about? The hatred toward Bush by the licentious, ludicrous, lying, liberal, luciferian leftwing demonic-rats is because of the Iraq war. It's because of his moral views. Go back and read the article again. And yes, homosexuality IS the topic being used to thrust their anti-Christian bigotry dogma to the American people, thinking that most of them agree with them instead of moral principles. The outcome of this election will tell. If jfkerry wins, then you'd better be prepared to give your soul to God because the America's ass belongs to Satan.

The Islamists hate us because our "politically Correct" culture is presented as "THE" American culture. This presentation from our media does not describe the real American culture. I abhor the picture Hollywood and TV paint of the USofA. Does this put me in the same position as the Islamists?

When the Islamic fundamentalists in Iran toppled the government of the Shah in 1979, the U.S. embassy was the second building they sacked. The first was the Tehran headquarters of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

Kind of gives an interesting perspective on things at the time, doesn't it?

I read somewhere that Islam is actually less strict on homosexuality than Christianity and Judaism. This article even inferred that many young muslim men have their first sexual experience as teens with other male teens.

Having said that, there's no way they would tolerate sodomarriage.

CC, I believe that the article is discussing the hatred of the Left (using Reich as an example of that hate-speech), not the Islamic world.

I do believe that abortion is the primary reason that the left opposed President Bush. And, as this editorial suggests, they are using the issue of same sex marriage to knock him down and divide America further.

At the root is the Left's hatred of all Godly things and people.
