When was the last time Sen. Kerry and Sen. Edwards voted?
Senate Roll Call Votes ^ | Vanity

Posted on 10/12/2004 4:26:42 PM PDT by topher

If one goes to the http://www.senate.gov site, and looks at the Roll Call votes in the Senate, it is very difficult to:

1. Find when both Kerry and Edwards both voted on the same thing (not necessarily the same way).

2. Find when Kerry last voted.

3. Find when Edwards last voted.

The Senate and House both had special sessions on the weekend, but if one goes further back, I really can not tell if it is 30 votes ago, 40 votes ago, or even 50 votes ago, in terms of answers to the (1), (2), and (3).

VP Cheney had referred to Sen Edwards as "Senator Gone" by his hometown newspaper.

I am just curious when this pair last represented the states they were elected to represent?

A bigger concern is that he is still getting paid as a SENATOR!

"GWB has to hit this hard..Monsiuer LeK is ripping his poor constituency off by his awful record of representation"

When Kerry proclaimed he and his co-ambulance chaser were FOR torte reform (all of a sudden...both have voted against it in the past 4 years), and President Bush said something like "Oh your FOR it now? Then you should have VOTED on the last time it came through the Senate!", I thought that was hitting rather hard.

Bob Dole when he ran for President did the moral thing and resigned from the Senate to run. Kerry knew his chances of winning were slim and did not have the BALLS to step aside and do the right thing. Of course Teddy told him not to as the GOP Gov on Mass would have appointed a nice republican.

The same thing goes for Edwards. He would have lost his primary anyway to Eskine Bowes. According to people in NC Bowes would have smoked Edwards.

You're doomed to fail...

Both bastards have NEVER served anyone but themselves..

The Senate rules are REALLY in need of correction, now that the Senate has become a collection of inept, incompetent buffoons..

Kerry stopped by to vote against the Laci/Conner law I think.

I went to the CSPAN link and the latest bill I could see that he voted on was dated MARCH 30. Please advise me if I am incorrect. That was the day after he voted AGAINST the "Laci and Connor" Bill.

Drive him out of Massachusetts after he loses this election. He better stay in one of his other houses because we don't want him back. Any guy who so disrespects his constituents this way deserves to be SHUNNED.

If he says he had to miss his Senate business because he had to campaign all over America, then let's ask him how the PRESIDENT manages to keep running the COUNTRY while he is riding his bike in circles.

On Fox News Sunday, Senator John Edwards was asked, “According to the news reports, you attended just three of 36 meetings of the Judiciary Committee, the worst record of any member of that panel, and you attended just four of 13 public meetings of the Intelligence Committee. For someone who's been in the Senate less than a full term, isn't that a problem?”

His response was incredible. He stated in part that because he could not get his way on certain legislation that, “…I came to the conclusion that the only real solution to this was to get George Bush out of the White House. And that's when I decided to run for president, and that's the period of time that they're talking about.”

With no due respect to the Senator, he was not elected by the people of North Carolina to run for President, but to serve our State’s interests in the United States Senate. He had a responsibility to the people of North Carolina to fulfill his obligations to our State. His willingness to quickly abandon North Carolina for his own ambitions shows a serious lack of integrity and begs to question how he would handle the office of Vice President.

There has Got to be a better way to find out how a particular congressman has voted.

Is there anywhere where the votes are listed by individual?

Some people have actually run for President and continued to at least show up in the Senate. At least for special votes. Seems like Kerry gave up even that about six months ago. He don't care.

According to the Senate Roll Call record, Kerry has missed the last 76 Senate votes. The latest vote I saw was on 22 June 2004 (Senate vote # 00135).

Good luck. I checked the NARAL website and was amazed they barely showed up to vote the PRO-ABORTION agenda in 2003.
