"Is there a statute of limitation on treason?"

The Federalist doesn't seem to think so...

I am with you -- we are screwed if he were to be elected. Cannot even believe some turkeys on here saying being stripped of a security clearance is no big deal. You get fired when you are stripped -- what part of that do they not understand? Without a clearance, you cannot do the work you were hired to do.

Perhaps no-one ever checked Kerry's security clearance level.

Doubt that. I am sure Senators have their own security clearance procedures. I don't know how they are vetted through the State Dept, CIA, DOD, etc.

How did he get on the Senate Intelligence Committee after losing a clearance?

I am totally convinced that he had a general discharge and had it upgraded. What was the date of his honorable discharge?

Just like Clinton's trip to the then Czecholslovakia in 1968. NO ONE was allowed in there at the time. '68 is the year that there was an uprising and the Soviet tanks rolled in.

Clinton gets to go to CZ? In '68? What's up with that?

Kerry didn't get his with a treason charge because the entire mainstream media were on his side. It is just tragic that the media have been allowed to drive campaigns for such a long period of time. The tide is turning.

That's what I thought -- Clinton put him there which I have to wonder if that is what Burger was after. To sit on that committee there is a higher level of clearance level you have to have to see the crypto information. Remember of the Senators complaining they were expected to vote on appropriations for blackbox programs but were not allowed to see them because that required an additional security level.

Have to wonder if Clinton granted the higher level of clearance as President and that is what Burger stuffed in socks, etc.

Bottom line....Kerry is French

He does kind of resemble Charles DeGaulle.

A Top Secret DoD security clearance is nothing to sneeze at. It doesn't have a bearing now on Kerry's access to classified data, but...

It has a direct bearing on the character of a man from whom the clearance has been stripped. My reference to the Walkers...traitorous spies...tells you my opinion of same.

Could this explain all his many absences from the Intelligence Committee? He didn't have the security clearance to see some of the classified material they were receiving in those meeting.

Doubtful.

More likely that he just didn't care.

The trap to all this is 'it was Nixon out to get me'.

The MSM will use this line, even if it all proves true. Count on it.
