The Riley Poll is local. A recent poll by them had Kerry ahead by 2 or 3%. They do polling primarily for statewide or local candidates. This year they have added Presidential figures to their poll. Previous Riley polls have shown GW is good shape contrary to the national polling companies.
I think it is very possible. Living in WA state around all these libs, I firmly believe it is ignorance, not evil - that steers there votes to the left. Maybe OR has become enlightened??? :)
Keep in mind, they have already started to vote in Oregon. They prefer that most voters send in mail ballots. It is becoming difficult to vote in person, on election day, in Oregon.
