Someone got to B.D. via this Google search today (too lazy to click through? The search: "bin laden has not been heard from since").
Well, since when? Since May 7th of this year when an (unauthenticated) audiotape emerged purporting to be UBL offering gold in return for Jerry Bremer's assasination. Pretty piddling fare for Osama, no? Reduced to offering grams of gold for the head of a mere American proconsul? Note that was about half a year ago.
Before that, there was that "truce" offer ostensibly for the benefit of those baddies in 'New' Europe back on April 15th (also, as far as I can tell, unauthenticated). And on January 4 of this year, another audiotape purporting to be Bin Laden aired on al-Jazeera. Interestingly, that was the first audio in which, according to the Guardian (ed. note: Did I just write that phrase straight-faced?], "the voice introduces itself as Osama bin Laden at the beginning of the tape." This raises my suspicion a little. After all, why must the great Sheikh explain it is He who is doing the speaking? Still, ostensibly, at least some analysts judged the audio to likely be authentic. But other reports I've seen are more cautious about confirming its authenticity [ed. note: The Beeb vs. CBS!?! I link, you decide!]
The last video (rather than audio) tape? You have to go back to October 19th, 2003 about a year ago. But there is no voiceover, no attempt to evidence the date of the footage, and UBL appears "healthy" (in sharp contrast to a gaunt-looking UBL in December of '01)
Before then? A video on September 11, 2003. But there is no real time voice on this video either:

You hadn't heard? Well, I'm not breaking news, President Bush knows damn well that UBL has been dead for quite some time. But why would Bush keep it to himself? If he were to disclose his knowledge that UBL is dead he would blow John Kerry's doors off in the election, and yet he remains silent. Why?
Maybe you're wondering how I know he's dead. Perhaps one of my SEAL buddies let me in on the secret? NO. I know because a publicity whore and grandstanding scumbag like UBL could not possibly resist the multitude of opportunites to inspire his cult members. His number 1, Zwahiri, has appeared on video or audio broadcasts every few months since 9/11. UBL has not been heard from since Tora Bora despite developments in the GWOT in Afghanistan and Iraq that make it unthinkable for him to have remained silent. Not to mention successful attacks in Bali, Madrid, Turkey, and Jakarta to name a few that remain unremarked upon by UBL. The invasion and occupation of an Islamic state by the US and not a word. Elections held for the first time in Afghan history, and he had nothing to say about it in the lead up. AQ tried once early on to air a tape that never mentioned key developments in the Afghan campaign and was quickly discredited as an attempt to put one over on his followers by airing a previous recording. Zwahiri decided that it was better to just pretend that UBL was alive because there was no plausible martyr story to tell. UBL went out running for his life like a coward. He is dead. His remains are turds shat by scavenging animals in the mountains of Afghanistan blown by the wind and stomped on by US troops.

He's dead Jim.
LOL, I was prepared to post the same exact quote (except that you left out a comma).
He's dead, Jim.
he he
I think we got him when we dropped one of our big fuel air explosives near a bunch of caves in Tora Bora.
If I recall correctly, that did a lot of damage.
I do wonder if we have or ever will recover any of his DNA.
OBL was outsourced at Tora-Bora.
Mark Steyn says he's dead; he's dead.
You'll notice that international Islamic terrorism has totally subsided in the absence of UBL. (/sarcasm)
He's a worm garden.
When Usama got to hell he was greeted by his 72 virgins who all looked like either Madeline Albright or Janet Reno.
I'm not so sure. Though Amir Taheri thinks he's dead, too.
If we don't know if he's dead or not, we use his ghost the same way and if we get bites ( his associates come to visit where we say we expect he is ) then it is clear that a living bin Laden isn't communicating with these folks who are walking into the trap so it stands to reason that he is dead.
If we don't know if he's dead or not, set traps with his ghost, but none of his associates show up, then it stands to reason that he is alive.
We have captured or killed most his associates and chances are they walked into a trap.
Yep, I've been saying this for months; bin Laden is protein paste in the rubble of collapsed cave.
It's funny that Kerry keeps going around blathering about how Bush "took his eye off the ball" and let bin Laden get away, when reasonable people know we got him months ago.
This is what I'm holding out hope for as the GOP October Suprise - an announcement 3 days before the election that bin Laden is in fact dead.
"Somebody better let allah know he's gettin' a package from FedEx Kabul."
I'm actually hoping Bush announces bin Laden's death three days after he's re-elected. If he does it before, the press and conspiratorialist lefties will insist it's all a political trick. If he waits until Nov. 6, they all would be absolutely flabbergasted he didn' t use the fact to get re-elected. All but the absolute crazies would have to abandon the fever swamp. His approval rating would pass 85% and Congress would be very compliant -- for a few months at least.
Osama bin Laden is resting in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies.
